Office Policies
Appointments
All appointments at Total Care Behavioral Health Services are scheduled in advance to ensure quality, uninterrupted care for each patient. We operate on an appointment-only basis and do not accept walk-in visits.
Cancellations & No-Shows
We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling. Missed appointments without prior notice may be subject to a no-show fee.
Telehealth Services
We offer secure and confidential virtual appointments for eligible patients. Patients are responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and a private environment during telehealth sessions.
Payment Policy
Payment is required at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. Patients are encouraged to contact the office for questions regarding fees, billing, or payment options.
Insurance & Forms
We assist with insurance-related documentation where applicable. Completion of forms such as FMLA, disability, and medical certifications may require additional processing time and fees.
Confidentiality
We are committed to protecting patient privacy and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. All medical information is securely handled and shared only with authorized consent.
Medication Management
Patients receiving medication management are expected to attend regular follow-up appointments. Refills and adjustments require provider evaluation to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Emergency Policy
Our clinic does not provide emergency or crisis services. In case of a mental health emergency, patients should call 911, dial 988, or visit the nearest emergency room immediately.
Respectful Environment
We maintain a respectful and safe environment for all patients and staff. Any abusive, threatening, or disruptive behavior may result in termination of services.
